So my daughter's soccer team won for the first time this season. Our star player is Mya, my husband went over to give her a pep talk. He says "ok Mya this is our chance to win are you ready?" She turned around and looked at the other team that was comprised of many tiny little girls who are already crying and she replied "I don't think they can beat anyone." She was right we beat them. The sweet little other team did not even make one point. I feel for them since we are normally the ones who get beat up and down the soccer field.
Alexis did not even go out on the field till she saw her Daddy getting high five for winning and she rushed the field to be a part of it. I have decided that three was a little young for soccer.
But she really loves dance classes. The summer classes are coming and we have to fill an intent form for the summer sessions and when I spoke with her teacher she said "Alexis needs to stay in creative movement" I was kinda offended I really wanted her to go on to pre-ballet but her teacher said she need to work on her short attention span, really she is a three year old, hello.
Maybe she is even a little too young for dance classes, but she really enjoys them.
What a rat race by three you have to have the kids in a team sport, to teach teamwork, they should be in an individual sport, so they learn independence, they have to be in the right preschool, have the right friends, clothes, shoes and the list goes on and on. Not only that but I think it gets worse.
