I as a mother I find myself look at my girls and thinking, what did my parents, my grandmother and sister teach me? The lessons that stick with you through your years of growing up, changing and having your own children.
* Always stand up for yourself, no one else will.
* Be yourself and you will be the best you can be.
* Do not speak ill about your family, because if you are saying it, it must be true!
* Treat everyone equally especially your children, they do not soon forget.
* Trust your heart it will guide you in the right direction.
* When someone shows you who they are believe them.
* Always do the right thing, and then you will never have to worry.
* Your parents will always love and forgive you no matter what you do.
* And when all else fails hit them up side the head with your lunch box!!!

Equality with kids is key. My sister is so mad that our parents treat the grandkids and us differently, who could blame her. It even bugs me!
