Obsessive

Do you have an obsession? I seem to get obsessed with different products and I just go crazy I look for them every where, I constantly shop for them, then the obsession passes and I move on to the next one. I am not obsessive about cleaning, cooking, laundry, or exercising, pretty much anything important.
One of my current all consuming obsessions is shoes, this is a long standing obsession it is just the brand that changes but I always love shoes because no matter what outfit you are wearing the shoe can make your outfit. Right now it is Christian Louboutin's, these wonderful stilletto's with their cheekie red soles, I think of them often and shop for them every chance I get and the the sick and demented thing of this obsession is the prices are starting to look reasonable and worth every penny. Currently I am watching my three year old strut by in my one and only pair which I dreaded breaking in because it would scuff the pristine red soles. I will always remember the first time I broke in my 4 inch tiger print absolutely exquisite pair of Christian's at the beach with just a pair of jeans and a black top but it was the perfect sexy outfit. Everyone sat on the porch and tried on my shoes and I watched as my mother-in-laws sister strutted around in them on the deck at the beach, oh the pleasure of an amazing pair of sexy, sky high, spectacular pair of unbelievably priced stiletto's, they can not even be called shoes they are that fabulous.
Another thing I get obsessed with is drinks so here goes, my current loves Smart Water, Chalk Hill wine and Diet Mountain Dew Code Red, I will actually go to as many stores as it takes to find these items, which includes packing my two screaming kids in the car drive to go to the next store it normally takes at least four different stores, lugging the girls in and out getting a cookie at each different store so the girls are not only annoyed, tired and on a sugar high, they do not know if they should cry or run crazy so it ends up in a screaming crying game of chase through the stores but I'll be damned if I do not get my drinks. Yes when I get home after my disastrous grocery trip I drink the whole bottle of wine then the next morning trying to get over my hangover I drink all the Diet Mountain Dew and then move to the Smart Water to try and get re hydrated. So within two days I need to go to the store again.
Other very constant obsession is finding the perfect clothes. I know I have written about my favorite before but just a reminder of the clothes I scourer every Sak's and Nordstrom sales for which by the way they are never on sale so after an hour of hunting and trying on random other possibles I always go and buy at least three of everything at normal price to reward myself for all the work I did trying to find them on sale, when I just buy one of them they are sold out the next day never fail, Joe's Jeans Rocker style in every color, Michael Star's T-shirts, Ed Hardy T-shirts, Twisted Heart Sweats every design and color, Juicy little smock dresses and SPANKS they go with everything and make anything look perfect. So as I sit here in my Twisted Heart sweat pants and Michael Star's t-shirt, I go on obsessing and shopping.
