Summer is over...PHEW!

I know not everyone feels this way but I have got to say I am so happy that the pool is closed and preschool starts next week. I am happy Alexis will get to go back to school with her little friends and we will hopefully appreciate the time we have together more because we have some space. She is in class three days a week and she is also in dance class. I am going to miss her but know it is for the best.

Our vacation was great a perfect end to the summer. We really enjoyed the beach it was not too hot and the water was a perfect temperature. So here the best parts of the trip. Alexis swam all by herself in the ocean all the way to shore thankfully I was not present for the first couple tries, it is amazing how much her swimming has progressed, because if you remember at the beginning of the summer she did not even want to get in the water. We blew up this pool for the girls to play in on the deck with many trips to the ocean we got a little water and tons of sand and rocks for the girls to play with and sort through. Emme loved playing in the surf, running down the dunes and feeding the seagulls. Dinners out were a little crazy with Emme and her new screech and Alexis wanting to eat with her new FULL SIZE Barbie at their own table. Even my husband had a good time the waves were perfect so my husband surfed for hours on end. Sadly it seems the beach eats cameras so we bought tons of disposable cameras and the pictures are ok but we missed so many great ones. Here are pictures of the family trip.
