I forgot? OOPS

Two Thursday's ago I called my sister and said lets go to the beach, William can not go till Friday late and I am ready to get out of town and Alexis starts school next Friday the 14th so this is our last chance to really get away for a long period of time. She said "I will be there by twelve". We did not arrive at the beach till around 6:00pm. We stopped for dinner and traveling with kids you know it aways takes longer. The craziest part was at milepost 3 our DVD player broke. Whew at least we only had a couple miles to go. When we got there we were locked out, so I had to break a window and as you can tell I am accident prone so I am lucky I broke the window with no incident or cut artery, we were in yea, everyone except the big girls off to bed Mich Ultra time. We had a great night talking and ribbing each other. I like to make up funny songs about her life and sing them while she laughs and begs me to stop.
The boys came up and spent the weekend with us, not much crazy happened we mainly played on the beach the waves were great and William did some kite surfing. The girls love the beach so when the weekend was up we had been planning on go home but Alexis wanted to stay so we decided to stay for the week and William would come back next weekend and then we would go home, I figured no big deal Alexis will miss one day of school no big deal and it will be fun just the girls, Kat and me. Alexis made a bunch of friends on the beach and the girls had a wonderful time, Thursday I finally called my voice mail and I had like 30 messages. I had gotten the dates wrong Alexis' school started Monday a week earlier and so did her dance class, oh no everyone was calling worried, the teacher thought I did not like her and my friends thought something happened. OOPS! I was just a little off on the dates, at least I am not one of those parents counting the days till they go to school. Or at least that is the spin I put on it.
