OK so it is that time of the year

Our family the Leftwich's go on vacation almost every August. We used to go to Sandbridge, then we went to Virginia Beach but this year we are lucky enough to go to Nags Head thanks to Elsie, she is the best. So it should be fun, interesting and some much more. Our family vacations normally include hurricane parties, reading in the bathroom in the middle of the night, parking tickets, stair surfing, lost memory cards, Melba toast {which are hard to find you know}, 5 finger discount rings, turbans made from shirts, Michelob Ultra, pink wine, lemons for your hair, shopping trips, and more than anything being together, yes that means the good and the bad of a family vacation, you all know what I am talking about. My mom has called me a million times asking what can she bring I keep telling her whatever she wants and I try and explain we normally eat out breakfast and dinner, get crabs, some fresh seafood and snacks on the beach. She was so funny and said you know I am ok getting up late putting on my bathing suit on and just hanging at the beach. I said you have not been to the beach with the girls lately!!!! It is non stop action one running here the other running there, total excitement.
So the checklist has begun, I am an admitted obsessive packer, I will pack all my jeans, most of my shoes and tons of different outfits that I may or may not use and then there are the girls I pack almost all of their clothes just Alexis has more clothes than Will and I do put together. So us going on a vacation is a major production not only that but we have plans for tonight and Alexis' new teacher is coming to the house for us the meet her before school starts. I am off to get somethings done. I will wright all about it when I get back. Blog ya later...I know I am a total dork but it had to be done.
