Sunday's are for my family. It was a perfect day. Saturday night we enjoyed a big night out on the town with dinner and partying with our friends, the girls stayed with my amazing parents. The girls have such a great time when they are with them. My mom and Alexis played a practical joke on me for April fools day they called and said that had to cut Alexis' hair since they accidentally dyed her hair with easter egg dye, they really got me all I could think was William is going to kill them. I then in turned played the same joke on Will and I don't know if he was laughing but there were some explicative and he had to admit I got him.
What do they say you attract what happens in your life? As we got ready for our Easter party, I was running around trying to coordinate the girls outfits {I like them to wear matching outfits}, find what I am going to wear and put on some sorely need makeup after a late night. I left the girls in my husbands trusty hands, HAHA. As I rounded the corner to our bathroom I see Alexis shaving her face. I say "oh no no girls do not shave our faces." then I look at the razor and see a huge chunk of fuzzy blond hair. No way she has shaved a small patch of hair from Emme's head. I look around and hear my husbands snoring on the bed. I am going to get him. You can not see where the hair is missing if you lean to the left and squint your eyes.
We finally get it together and we are off just a little late. We such a great time and the big news is...as I am fixing a bottle in the club's lounge I set Emme on the lounge floor and too my amazement I look over to see her standing and taking her first steps. Wow! 10 months old and walking. As we watched the way too long puppet show and waited for the Easter Egg hunt to start. Will, our friends and I have a couple drinks. It always makes these children's events go by a little faster. As we are hanging around letting the kids go crazy looking for easter eggs running all over the golf course. They only caused a couple golfers whiff their shots. Oh well!!
We hung out pretty much all day and then had dinner with our friends. We enjoyed sitting outside in the warm sunny night with the kids at there own table, now that was the best part. How quickly my girls are growing up Emme walking and Alexis being a little lady and able to sit at a table all by herself with her little boy friend. As I always say we are so blessed my girls are little angels. After dinner we sat and watched Alexis and her friend roll down the same hills I rolled down at the Country Club when I was a little girls. How thing come full circle.
